One of the biggest things I encourage people to look for when choosing a custom builder is someone who is willing to spend time with them before construction begins.

A builder should want to understand how you live, what matters most to you, what your budget priorities are, and what you expect from the finished home.

Sometimes the most valuable thing a builder can do is ask a question the homeowner did not know they needed to answer.

The goal should not simply be to build what is shown on the plans. The goal should be to help create the best home possible within the homeowner's budget and circumstances.
